Ruby-GConf: Ruby bindings to the GConf configuration database system
Copyright 2001 Neil Conway (neilconway@rogers.com)

This package allows Ruby developers to write applications that store their
configuration data using GConf (1.0.x). GConf is a configuration database system
written by Havoc Pennington et al, and part of the GNOME application development
framework (although it can be used separately).

The Ruby-GConf bindings are written and maintained by Neil Conway
(neilconway@rogers.com). They are part of a larger project called Ruby-GNOME,
which aims to create bindings for all the major GNOME application
libraries. The Ruby-GNOME homepage is http://ruby-gnome.sf.net.
Any bugs with Ruby-GConf (the Ruby binding, not the C library) and any
patches should be reported at http://sf.net/projects/ruby-gnome, or
emailed directly to Neil Conway. If you discover a bug in GConf,
you can report it at http://bugzilla.gnome.org

For installation instructions, see INSTALL.

For notes on developing applications with Ruby-GConf, see README.DEV.
